WHO: You, Your Team, Your Ideas!
Josh is a master team builder. For the last 15 years, he has been impacting teams: businesses, high schools, colleges, churches, non-profits, and athletic teams of all levels. Josh has a unique gift for bringing teams into unity so positive change can be achieved. These are pivotal moments.

David served as the inaugural Director of the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at UNL from 2001 to 2015. He currently holds appointments a Professor of Practice in the Raikes School, a Courtesy Professor of Business Administration and Courtesy Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. His career has included technical and management positions at three computer systems companies including Hewlett-Packard, two engineering software companies including Engineering Systems International in Paris; Nippon Kokan K.K. the Japanese multinational in Tokyo (now JFE Holdings), and the research faculty at Georgia Tech.
He holds a doctoral degree in engineering from Georgia Tech. Sonia is the owner of Keffer and Associates, a consulting and training company focused on improving leadership skills and team cohesion. Sonia has been consulting companies on leadership and team development issues for over 20 years. She'll be presenting:
Vision: How far can you see?
Innovative leaders have Vision, far reaching and grand. Being able to see the place you want your company to be involves great insight and great belief. In her session, Sonia will discuss how Vision is different than a plan and give you insights in how to see farther than you’ve dared dream before.
Jane believes politics matter. She was a reporter for MTV, frequent guest on FOX and MSNBC and key advisor for “Thin” a documentary on eating disorders. Jane led a statewide organizing campaign on health care reform, served as the national executive director of the Young Democrats of America, the foundation director for Renfrew a mental health facility and headed up an AmeriCorps program. Jane has a "thing" for training manuals, flip charts and icebreakers. She lives in a small rural town, Hastings, with her husband Scott, an energy entrepreneur.
Chais is a self made man in the making. He believes in hustle, and that if he wants something badly enough in this lifetime, he has to do whatever it takes to make it happen. I believe that the better someone becomes at running a business, the more they end up understanding the strengths and weaknesses of humanity...too deep!? Chais uses people's opinions about cats, as a filter for friendships and employees. He's a marketer by heart (human psychology is a crazy, fun game). He's a college dropout. He has a book of business ideas that lists over 80 different business ideas. I love T-Shirts.
Andrew was inspired to form Pacha Soap after his time in Peru where he lived, worked, learned, and developed friendships with the people there. He launched the operation from my college apartment and is no being carried around the country in Whole Foods Markets. His goal has been to help start social enterprises in developing nations around the world while producing a purposeful product.
Kathy has been in leadership roles that have run the gamut from band plays in middle school to running her own businesses (yes that is plural) over the past 20 years. This has led her to innate a quest of finding what makes “things” run better. Things being organizations and businesses – any entity that has members or employees. Kathy takes pride in guiding leaders to be better. Being a successful leader doesn't mean you have to be perfect.
